Ama Adhe

Tibetan refugee Ama Adhe holds prayer beads at the Tibetan Reception Center in Dharamsala, India in August 2005. Adhe, who spent 27 years in Chinese prisons for participating in the resistance movement in Tibet in the 1950's, escaped to India where she now assists other refugees.
