Kara Starzyk is a freelance photographer and reporter based out of, but not limited to, South Florida.

Her pursuit in photography and reporting stems from a genuine curiosity and interest in people, places and social issues. She earned her Bachelor of Science in News Editorial Journalism from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Passionate about traveling, she lived and explored Asia for three years.

Kara's photographs and articles have been published nationwide in publications including the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Sun Sentinel Society Scene, Forum Publishing Publications, Chicago Tribune, Orlando Sentinel, Longmont Times-Call and Social Miami Magazine as well as abroad in Contact Magazine (India).

Kara is available for freelance assignments anywhere.
